On the evening of January 18, 2019, Hengyuan Refining Company Berhad held the “2018 HRC Movie Night Theme  Annual Meeting” at D'tempat sendayan Hotel in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia.  

At the annual meeting, Chairman Wang Youde was invited to deliver a short speech. He mentioned Henguan's commitment to maintain relative stability within two years after taking over HRC from Shell. And then, he quipped that although he promised at the annual meeting last year that he would still wear the same coat this year, in fact, he wore a totally new one at this year’s annual meeting. This is to express the good wish of HRC for a higher and better development, and also hope that all employees can work together to witness a better future of HRC. HRC CEO David Keat then delivered a speech, in which he hoped the staff and management would work together to meet and overcome the challenges.

In order to liven up the atmosphere, the annual meeting was interspersed with performances carefully-prepared by HRC management and staff. The Chairman, CEO and Deputy CEO were invited to award honorary certificates to HRC's outstanding employees, to affirm and thanks for their outstanding contributions to the company over the years.

The Deputy Chairman Mr. Wang Zongquan, independent director Ms. Lim Tau Kien, Mr. Alan Hamzah Sendut, Mr. Liang Kok Siang, CEO Mr. David Keat, Deputy CEO  Ms. Wang, Jocelyn-Chao-Jen and the member of HRC leadership team also attended the annual meeting.
